The Y&L Interns

It’s summer time and you know what that means – Y&L Summer Interns return!!!

This year we are excited to have new interns already onboard and raring to go! It’s always a breath of fresh air to have young people buzzing around the office, asking questions, listening to different types of music and thinking that our jokes aren’t funny. We all learn from them as much as they learn from us during this time.

We have tons of projects kicking off so there will be plenty for each of them to do in addition to learning things like programming basics, project management, contra., salary negotiations, etc. Let the fun begin!

Our Interns

Ms. Beniwal Receiving her Certificate of Excellence after completing her summer internship with Y&L Consulting this past summer

Sara Beniwal

Sara Beniwal is a junior at Del Norte High School, exploring knowledge and planning to attend college majoring in computer science. She is currently the speech captain of the school’s speech and debate club. She started her own club called the Del Norte Social Innovation Club, where she promotes innovation amongst elementary, middle, and high school students. Sara is also a 3 rd degree black belt in Taekwondo as well as a player on the school’s field hockey team. Outside of school, Sara has become the CFO of a virtual reality startup that she and a group of friends have created. Sara is focused on reaching her goals by working hard at school and giving back to the community.

“With the help of Mr. Sengar and the Y&L Consulting team, I was able to explore and receive hands-on experience about blockchain and its industrial applications. Over the past couple of months, Mr. Sengar and I have focused on researching blockchain technology and its utilization in the health insurance industry, yet the work and research I conducted not only helped open my eyes to the many industries blockchain can help transform, but also introduced me to the business world. This internship gave me the skills essential to be able to learn and thrive in any office setting, and I look forward to exploring this budding technology in the near future.”

In recognition of Sara’s outstanding achievement, she was awarded the certificate of excellence.

Vishal Kale

Vishal Kale is a junior at Texas A&M in College Station majoring in psychology and minoring in computer science. During high school, band was a big part of his life.
